This Privacy Policy describes how Seagull Strike ("the App") handles information when you use it.
Information We Collect
Leaderboard Initials. If you choose to submit a score to the global leaderboard, you may enter a three-letter initials combination of your choosing. This is the only personally-identifiable-style information the App collects, and it is entirely optional and user-chosen — we do not require or collect your real name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information.
Gameplay Data. The App records basic gameplay statistics (such as scores, level completion, and play activity) to operate the leaderboard and to help us understand how the game is used. This data is not linked to your real-world identity.
Purchase Information. If you purchase the optional "Unlock Full Game" in-app purchase, that transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details, billing address, or card information — Apple handles all payment data under its own privacy practices.
No Third-Party Advertising or Tracking. Seagull Strike does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or data-sharing integrations. We do not sell, rent, or share any information with advertisers or data brokers.
How We Use Information
Information collected is used only to:
Display leaderboard rankings (All Time and Weekly)
Understand overall gameplay patterns to improve the App
Provide access to purchased content
Data Storage
Leaderboard data and gameplay statistics are stored using Supabase, a backend data service. Reasonable measures are used to protect this data, though no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children beyond the optional, user-chosen three-letter leaderboard initials described above. We do not collect names, addresses, emails, or any other identifying information from any user, including children.
Your Choices
Submitting a leaderboard score is entirely optional; you may play the App without ever entering initials.
You may contact us at any time (see below) to ask questions about your data or request removal of a leaderboard entry.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
